What is it?
Qdos Office Protect is a package of insurance products which offers protection against a range of risks applicable to small businesses. Having this range of cover under a single insurance policy simplifies the application and quotation process, minimising the administrative efforts required to source and purchase cover, and at the renewal stage.
Qdos Office Protect comprises of:
Office contents cover
This provides protection against loss or damage to property on your premises, including portable equipment, documents, signs, glass and money. It will also cover the costs of tenancy liabilities you may face as a result of damage to buildings or outbuildings, as well as locksmiths’ fees following loss of keys.
Legal liability cover
Encompassing both Public and Employers Liability insurances, these sections cover legal liabilities for injury or death to third parties and employees, including claimant costs and expenses. Employers’ Liability insurance is compulsory for any company with more than one employee (including directors, temporary staff, or part time staff) and has a £10,000,000 limit of indemnity which will satisfy your statutory obligations.
Computer cover
In the event that computer equipment is lost, damaged or destroyed whilst in the office, this section of cover will provide indemnity for repair and replacement. Additionally, the policy will cover the increased costs of working as a result of such damage to your computer equipment.
Business interruption cover
Cover is provided for increased operating costs in the event that your business activities are disrupted as a result of loss of or damage to contents or property, closure of premises due to vermin/pests, defective drainage or sanitation systems and loss of public provided utilities (gas/water/etc).
